
Tecoman Franck Mounier is a spirit educator and consultant, and the founder of Sycamore Whisky Gourmet.
He is widely recognized for creating memorable experiences for both private and corporate audiences, as well as for delivering high-quality training programs tailored to participants of all skill levels. His sessions are known for their warm, engaging atmosphere, where guests not only learn but also share a genuinely enjoyable and immersive moment.
Franck is a certified WSET instructor (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) in spirits, a Whisky Ambassador tutor (Scotland), an Armagnac educator, and holds a Distiller’s Certificate from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD, London). He has visited more than 200 distilleries worldwide, from Japan to the United States, and regularly travels to international gatherings of spirit experts. He is closely connected with many of the most respected figures in the industry and serves as a judge at the World Whisky Awards.
Known for his highly effective and approachable pedagogical style, Franck combines deep expertise with genuine passion. To date, he has trained and entertained nearly 10,000 participants through his tastings, masterclasses, and curated dining experiences.
He is based in the New York–New Jersey area.
His consulting job includes marketing support, bar and restaurant advice, or sample evaluation.

Michele is a French-certified chef who has further refined her craft alongside Michelin-starred chefs around the world. With an exceptionally sensitive nose and palate, she plays a key role in shaping and validating the spirit and food pairings we design and present during our whisky pairing dinners.
Highly creative, Michele has developed refined, expressive recipes that pair seamlessly with premium whiskies, enhancing both the culinary and tasting experience. With 16 years of hands-on experience in full meal spirit-and-food pairings, she is an invaluable asset in the consulting work we do with restaurants, helping them align their menus with carefully selected whiskies.
Beyond the kitchen and tasting room, Michele is also our official photographer—all the visuals featured on our website are her work—capturing the atmosphere, precision, and emotion of our events. She further contributes to the success of our projects through her involvement in organization, logistics, and administrative coordination, bringing rigor, creativity, and reliability across multiple operational areas.

Hailing from Argentina, Julieta has a decade of experience in the beverage industry. She is a Scotch Whisky Ambassador, holds an Advanced Whisky certificate, and is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Julieta is passionate about education related to food and beverage. She personally believes the discovery of whisky should be a journey of celebration and enjoyment.
Whenever she is not working with wine and spirits, you can find her travelling to various whisk(e)y regions or exploring unique flavors in her home beverage lab.

Joe is whisky Ambassador certified from Scotland and is also certified at a whiskey advanced level. He is a whiskey enthusiast multiplying the tasting experiences, and his involvement in whiskey shows is always highly recognized. Joe is a seasoned certified bartender and always offer his mixology knowledge when appropriate. Joe has a very engaging character and always blends well with the crowds of whiskey drinkers during classes or events. He is well appreciated for his openness, knowledge and engaging skills. Joe has visited many distilleries, and each time he is engaging with the makers themselves to better understand the underlying factors that drive the flavors of each whiskey.

Alex has multiple skills and we use only a few of them. He is our web designer – if you like the site, tell him! – and he is bringing a lot of experience and knowledge to the marketing, sales and communication initiatives we implement. His knowledge of social media and media channels is critical to our success. His very insightful customer approach makes him an invaluable Team member.
