Personal Information

Whisky Gourmet respects each individual user’s right to privacy.

Whisky Gourmet does collect personal identifying information (mailing and emailing addresses) for the purpose of interacting with each participant in the context of the tasting session. Whisky Gourmet doesn’t share this personal information to any third parties.

During the videoconferencing sessions

Our sessions are not recorded and recording from any participant is not permitted through the videoconferencing software set up. The participants can change their name as displayed on the screen if they wish to better protect their identity. We cannot be held accountable for any screenshot or video taken from another device by any attendee; we kindly ask our clients to encourage their groups to refrain from collecting such information. Upon request, we can also make a statement at the beginning of the session.

Newsletter

Unless requested otherwise, the participants to our classes are added to our email list for the newsletter that is issued once or twice a month. All recipients of the newsletter are given the opportunity to unsubscribe with a simple click.

Security

Whisky Gourmet uses reasonable precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us secure. However, Whisky Gourmet is not responsible for any breach of security.

Right to Change at Any Time

Whisky Gourmet reserves the right to change this policy at any time by posting notice of the existence of a new privacy statement. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement on our website. We will manage information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
