Cognac is an outstanding liquor well appreciated around the world. The USA is the first market for cognac, boasting 50% of the world consumption!

In this online tasting session, you will discover why cognac is so popular in America: its unique taste, its rich history, the richness of the terroir influence, and more.

You will learn the key historical facts of cognac, how it is produced, what can influence its taste, and of course how to taste and enjoy.

You will enjoy five different high-end cognac expressions, each representing a different style and tasting profile, giving you a great overview of this amazing liquor.

You will enjoy:

• A rare organic cognac
• old VSOP cognacs
• An Extra old XO cognac

 

How does this work?

You will receive your package by mail, a zoom link and a tasting support by email.

Then a few days before the session, you will receive a zoom link to participate live.

For the session, just prepare (ideally) five glasses, and supply of water. Glasses will be preferably tasting glasses (base larger than top), wine glasses work well too. If you would like to have some food, you can take some neutral crackers (oat or else) that will not interfere with the cognac aromas.

Your tutor:

Born and raised in France, Franck holds a distiller diploma, is WSET spirit Educator certified, and has a passion for liquors. He started with whiskey and is now developing the cognac tasting at full speed! He has visited many cognac distilleries and is in contact with the main actors of the area. He has a great knowledge and high entertaining skills and more than 8,000 participants have enjoyed his sessions!
