This is a great way to learn whiskey and develop your taste: in this session, you will learn how whiskey is made, the many differences between whiskies, how to taste, and practice.

The goal? You will learn how to better enjoy whiskey!

This is very interactive, quite fun and you can ask any question!

Being at home is probably the best spot to learn how to taste: you are undisturbed, you know your environment and then can focus much more easily into the whiskey tasting. Your senses will be at work optimally.

How does this work?

  • After you book, you receive your kit with instructions on how you should prepare. Expect the kit a few days before the session.
  • Two days prior the session you receive by email  the zoom link to connect. Computer, iPad, smartphone OK.
  • Session content:
    • Whiskey making process & diversity
    • Geographical differences
    • How to taste a whiskey – guidance
    • Guided tasting of four whiskies from various origin (Scotch, Irish, America, and another country), all whiskies are premium
    • 5th secret sample
    • Tasting starts blindly  to help a great deal developing your tasting abilities. Whiskies are then disclosed, described and tasting notes shared
    • How to drink whiskey (neat, ice, mixer,…)
  • Booking date:
    • We guarantee 5 business days shipment, please book at least one week before the session
    • If you book later, check the expedited delivery box (addition of $35/kit)

Is this a gift?

  • In the booking section, put your own address in the “billing details”, and the name and address of the recipient in “ship to a different address”.
  • If you wish to offer a gift to multiple persons and addresses, just add the names and corresponding addresses in the “order note” box.
  • If you wish that the person is recognized during the session for a special reason, just mention it in the “order note” box. We’ll do our best to create a nice memory!

Your guide:

Franck is a Whisky Ambassador Tutor (Scotland) and has a distiller degree from IBD (London, UK) and is involved in Bourbon & American whiskey production. He has toured the world to visit more than 120 distilleries from Japan to America and in between, travels on a regular basis to whisky experts’ gatherings, and is well connected with the most prestigious actors of the area.

Franck is a judge in national and international Spirit Competitions, including the prestigious World Whisky Awards.

He has entertained or trained more than 3,000 participants to date to his sessions and is recognized for his very effective pedagogical approach while demonstrating his passion.

Franck is operating in the United States, in New-York and New-Jersey.
